Motorola CHARM review
DesignMotorola Charm comes with a tiny box with a size of 98.4 x 67.2 x 11.4 mm and weighs 115 grams. The front there is a size 2.8-inch touch screen with 320 x 240 pixels. Screen quality is good, but somewhat lacking in sharpness of the color. When tried to surf diinternet using Dolphin Browser, a bit less convenient because it looks small, because I used to use a larger screen.
Bottom of the screen there is a QWERTY keyboard which is very helpful in typing. Tut's QWERTY keyboard is comfortable and soft. And in the middle of the screen and QWERTY keyboard are the home button, menu, and back.
To help navigate Motorola also provides a backtrack, which serves as a trackpad, but located on the back. Backtrack feature is quite helpful, but need a little adjustment. Next to backtrack there is also a 3 megapixel camera.
At the top there is a port and 3.5mm audi jack and power button, and on the left there is the voice key and microSD port that can be used to charge the battery and to connect to a PC using data cable.
Performance & HardwareMotorola Charm powered by TI OMAP3410 chipset which there Cortex A8 600MHz processor and PowerVR GPU SGX530, and come equipped with 512MB of RAM. Performance of Motorola Charm fairly smooth, fast response. When trying to run the game Angry Bird, the game is running smoothly.
Motorola Charm is also equipped with an internal memory capacity is left to the user about 170MB and come equipped with a microSD slot up to 32GB.
Software & ApplicationsMotorola Charm using Android 2.1 Eclair, Android 2.1 is one drawback is the lack of support to move the application to external memory. I install Angry Bird and some applications such as Real Player, Dolphin Mini browser, and some tools, the only remaining memory is 90MB's. Apparently can not install applications and games too much. But if you can mengroot these devices and applications mengisntall link2sd certainly a lot of applications and games that can be installed on this Motorola Charm.
Motorola Charm uses MotoBlur display that looks beautiful. There are 7 display the homescreen, you can set each display screen homescreennya.
CameraMotorola Charm comes with a 3-megapixel main camera, unfortunately not equipped with flash. The resulting image is good, but sometimes a little bit ngeblur. The camera is also capable of recording video and the video quality is pretty good.
MultimediaMotorola Charm comes with multimedia features such as music & video player, adio and YouTube to see videos online.
The resulting sound quality was loud and good voice quality. Unfortunately the speakers were behind the hole so when I put it on your desk into a small voice.
ConnectivityMotorola Charm provides a comprehensive means of connection such as GSM network support, network support 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and microUSB port.
ConclusionMotorola Charm comes with a beautiful design with a powerful chipset support. Unfortunately Motorola Charm Android 2.1 is still using that where there is no support for moving the application to external memory.
And overall performance offered is very good and also currently have a Motorola Charm at an affordable price tag.
